Shipping Details

We ship five times per week. Most orders ship within 36 hours of being received though our system. Additional delays may occur when multiple orders are place, changes to the order are requested, or non-standard payment methods are utilized.

Flat rate shipping within the US also applies to orders including bulk purchases. International orders including bulk items may incur additional shipping charges. Please contact us for a quote.

USA and Terriorities

We ship almost exclusively via USPS (United States Postal Service). Within the US our shipping charge is $6. Shipments are made via USPS priority mail which cannot be tracked online but do include delivery confirmation. Standard delivery times quoted by the USPS are 2 to four days.

If you do not receive your package within three weeks of shipment and delivery is not confirmed on the USPS web site we will reship your order at our cost. We may request that you purchase additional insurance for the second shipment though

If you do not receive your order but delivery is confirmed we may provide a replacement at reduced price at our discretion. If you wish to request an alternate shipping method please contact us. In most cases we will request a minimum $6 shipping charge.

To Canada our shipping charge is $6. Shipments are made via USPS letter mail which cannot be tracked online This is a very reliable system and is the best shipping method for most customers. We have seen around 97% delivery rates with only one shipment delayed in customs and two shipments lost

We will not replace lost orders shipped by this method. For established customers we may provide a replacement at reduced cost at our discretion.
If you are particularly concerned about the possibility of lost packages please contact us and we will send you an invoice for an upgrade to insured shipping
If you wish to request an alternate shipping method please contact us. In most cases we will request a minimum $6 shipping charge.

The Canadian customs service may add additional import tariffs based on the value if your order (these charges are usually small). Please contact them directly for additional information.

Canada Insurance: Adds $20 at check out for upgrade to USPS priority mail and replacement insurance.

Europe, Asia, Australasia

We ship almost exclusively via USPS (United States Postal Service).
Our shipping charge is $10.00. Shipments are made via USPS they cannot be tracked. This is a reliable system and is the best shipping method for most customers. Please contact us for upgraded shipping prior to placing an order.

We will not replace lost orders shipped by this method. For established customers we may provide a replacement at reduced cost at our discretion.
Historical delivery accuracy is above 97.5% with the exception of Italy (see below)
If you are particularly concerned about the possibility of lost packages please add international insurance to your order (see below). For some countries we may request either that insurance be purchased or an explicit waiver of liability in the event that a package is lost.

Note for Italian customers

Italian customs regulations mean that we cannot ship items via express or insured mail. In addition, local deiveries have been unreliable leading to a loss rate of around 25% on orders. Please bear in mind that we cannot replace orders shipped to italy and that we suggest that orders not include Canvas cream or large Seakelp so that we can ship them in a small box.
