L-Carnitine is included in this kit to increase respiration of accumulated lipids. and derivatives like acetyl carnitine, carry activated fatty acids through the mostly impermeable inner mitochondrial membrane, allowing the respiration of fatty acids. The activated fatty acid (Acyl-CoA) cannot pass through the membrane but there is a special translocator for Acyl-carnitine. Once carnitine releases the fatty acid it carries (a process involving a tranferase), carnitine can go out again and take up another activated fatty acid.
Caffeine acts directly on adipose tissue by interacting with receptors and allowing the release of free fatty acids from the cells, to be respired with the cell or exported to be used by the muscles.
Bupleurum falcatum. saikosaponin and other saponins present in this chinese herb extract (used by most anticellulite products in the market) seem to benefit cell metabolism and increase synthesis of matrix proteins. The extract also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Sea kelp bioferment: skin food for your body
Horse chestnut extract: escin (aescin) is not a single
chemical but a family of compounds, glycosides of saponins present in
horsechestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) extract. They have strong
anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Through their action on connective
tissue, they strengthen fragile capilliary blood vessels, thus helping to
prevent leakage of fluids into surrounding tissues and decreasing exudation and
edema development. Horse chestnut extract has other valuable chemicals,
including the antioxidants quercetin and kaempferol but, because of the special
properties of escin, ours is an extract enriched in this particular
chemical.
WARNING: Caffeine should not be used during pregnancy.
