Skin actives essential
Liquorice root has been used in Europe since prehistoric times, a use documented since the ancient Greeks, for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity.

Phytochemists and biochemists have been working for decades elucidating the structure of the chemicals involved and mechanisms of action. In the case of the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra this is not a single chemical that benefits the skin. For this reason, SAS sells a extract that contains all the valuable chemicals present in liquorice root, released by fermentation, resulting in a powder that is powerful but also pleasant, white and easy to use. A great active, use for atopic dermatitis and skin lightening.

Each tube contains enough liquorice for about 8 oz of cream or lotion
