(Matrixyl Peptide)
Skin Actives recomends the use of Dermagen instead of this peptide because besides acting as a signal it also supplies nutrition in the form of peptides that can be used to make our own collagen.
Customers should also consider using our natural active peptides in combination with this peptide solution.
Use: you will receive a 2 mL. tube with ultra-concentrated palmitoyl pentapeptide; keep in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until needed. Mix the contents of the transporting tube into 8 oz. of lotion or cream (to get Strivectin's concentration) or into 4 oz. to get an even more powerful cream.
Further information: this is the the active ingredient in Strivectin™. The actual structure of the molecule is N2-(1-oxohexadecyl)-L-lysyl-L-threonyl-L-threonyl-L-lysyl- L-Serine, abbreviated as Pal-KTTKS (K for lysine, T for threonine, S for serine). Amino acids are the subunits that make up a protein. Amino acids can join each other in a peptide bond: two amino acids joined in a peptide bond constitute a dipeptide, three a tripeptide, a five a pentapeptide. A protein can be made up of just one or several polypeptides.
Clients interested in Pal-KTTKS may also be interested in Skin Actives natural active peptides, a powder, or in Dermagen, a concentrated solution of peptides and hyaluronic acid.
