Firefighter's Relief
by Hannah
We created this
for a local firefighter's crew. It is great for keeping hot feet healthy.
Ingredients
4 oz. Canvas
1 tablespoon of tea tree
oil
1 teaspoon Propolis
Optional - add an EGF kit for healing of cuts and
scrapes
The cream has a strong aroma but it will help fight infections, and
fungus.
Pimple Killer
by Donna
Here's a recipe to help
reduce the inflammation from a pimple:
Crush several uncoated aspirin tablets
until they are fine powder (I use a hammer, with aspirin wrapped in plastic
wrap). Mix with enough bioferment to make a thick paste. (I added a pinch of
niacinamide, but not necessary)
Coat pimple area with mixture so it adheres
to skin. Leave on overnight. The next day pimple should be almost gone.
SAS note: We now have white willow bark extract (which has
Salicylic acid, this can be used instead of aspirin in Donna's
recipe)
Skin Tightening
by Donna
I mixed the following into
4 oz. of canvas cream-(for AM)
One EGF kit, 1/2 tube Matrixyl, one tb. sea
kelp bio., 1/2 tsp. each of coconut endosperm and natural active peptides
dissolved together in a tsp. of water(it may congeal in the water-just keep
mixing and breaking up lumps), a pinch of niacinamide and green tea.
For PM,
after cleansing, I make a mixture of 1/4 tsp. each of ascorbic acid, DMAE, and
Alpha lipoic acid dissolved in 1/4 cup water. I steam my face to help penetrate
the mixture into my skin. I apply the mixture by patting it with a cotton ball
to my face.(Don't let it drip into eyes) After it dries I apply some lipophilic
complex mixed with some canvas cream.
Lili suggested adding 3/4 of a teaspoon of green tea and
niacinamide

Time Travel

"I just wanted to let you know that I have been very pleased with my first
purchase. I purchased Alpha Lipoic Acid and Natural active peptides and
added them to an inexpensive bottle of Jergens lotion. After only a few
days I actually started noticing an improvement in my face. My face seemed
brighter and with fewer wrinkles. I thought it was my imagination that a
product would work that quickly. After a few weeks using the two combined
ingredients I noticed (to my amazement) that the fine wrinkles around my mouth
actually disappeared. I then knew, it was not my imagination.
Milia Gone
by Sunnybuns
I had posted a message a couple of weeks ago asking this same question. I
had a mild case ... noticed had , and my daughter has a more severe problem. The
good news is... mine are all but gone! The bad news is.. I'm not sure which
active is responsible. I have some broken capillaries also and I've been using
Hesperidin, Horsechestnut and Grape seed extract in the canvas cream for that.
I was so impatient when I first received my goods.. I
just started mixing actives without writing down what was in which jar. I've
since started keeping track. At any rate I believe there is a combo out there
that will eradicate these little buggers. My daughter is coming for a visit next
week and I can't wait to experiment on her .

No Cold Sores
by hennagirl
I put tea tree oil on my
cold sore tingly (before the break-out) and it stopped it! I made a tea tree lip
balm (1 tbl beeswax, 1 tbl cocoa butter, 1 tbl olive oil, 10 drops tea tree oil)
and I haven't had a break-out since.. --Natasha
Cooling Balm

Proportions for this formula: 1 teaspoon Sea Kelp, 8 drops Lipophilic
Antioxidant, 8 drops Rosehip Oil, 5 drops Coleus Oil, 8 drops of the Dermagen
(well the end of the pipette which I have approximated to be 8 drops).
It smells yummy! Fresh and Vitamin C like. You may need more oil stuff,
but that is the formula I am using to help someone who was burned (1st and 2nd
degree) and it is soothing, gentle, and rebuilding the skin -- very quickly. I
also use this formula for my face after the Pumpkin Peel. In lieu of the above
(if you have not ordered one or two of everything on this site -- like me) run,
do not walk to the nearest WalMart or Target and get the "Fruit of the Earth"
Aloe Gel. It it 99% pure Aloe, no alcohol, no color, and no kidding -- $3 - $4
per bottle, 24 oz. size. You may peel like a sunburn, but you will heal up.
Won't be as nourishing as the above formula (I've done this before with prior to
SAS peels) but it will stop the progression.
