How do they work?

By applying scientifically proven actives to the skin that makes up your scalp, our hair care serums help reignite and reinforce biological processes that your skin is doing already. In a 2018 in-house study, Skin Actives hair serums with keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) increased hair volume between 16 - 30% over a period between 60 and 160 days. Yes, that may seem like a long time, but at Skin Actives we believe in taking the time to do something the right way, which means sometimes a bit more slowly, but always healthy!

Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF) is the key. KGF binds to cells when applied topically and signals cells that have become dormant with age to begin proliferating. This is good for skin cells, but also potentially affects the cells responsible for hair growth as well. KGF is supported in all our hair care formulations with other actives that support strong, thick hair.
