How to use it

Beginner: Mix a half a teaspoon of powder with a quarter cup of water to create a vitamin C toner every other day.

Advanced: This ingredient is soluble in water (50 mg/ml), ethanol, and ethoxydiglycol. Ascorbic acid is highly unstable in most mediums as they contain oxygen and metals. Ascorbic acid can also react with light and heat. Short-term use formulations are the most effective way around this.

Quick Tips

Store in a cool, dark, and dry environment for best results. Brown tinged powder means the ascorbic acid has reacted with moisture in the air and should be thrown out. Keep tightly closed.
