Finding the perfect skincare product that caters to individual needs can be a challenge. Skin Actives has emerged as a game-changer, offering a unique approach to personalized skincare. By providing customers with pre-measured active ingredients, we empower individuals to concoct their own customized skincare, ensuring that every product aligns perfectly with their unique skin requirements. And as a leading skincare company pioneering peptides and proteins, we take personalized skincare to a whole new level.

What are Peptides in Skincare?

Peptides, often colloquially referred to as proteins, play a crucial role in skincare. These amino acid compounds serve as messengers, facilitating communication between skin cells. Skin Actives, a trailblazer in the field, offers an array of peptides, with the Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) standing out as a top-selling protein. Despite being proteins, they're commonly called peptides by the public. Read more about Proteins in Skincare here.

Are Multi-Peptide Serums Good for Skin?

Competitors have introduced multi-peptide serums as a solution for comprehensive skincare. While they can be beneficial, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons. Multi-peptide serums offer the advantage of addressing multiple skin concerns simultaneously, such as boosting collagen production and promoting skin elasticity. However, drawbacks may include potential ingredient conflicts and a one-size-fits-all approach that may not cater to individual needs.

Multi-Peptide Serums from Skin Actives

Skin Actives takes personalization a step further by providing customers with the tools to create their own multi-peptide serums at home. Here are three recipes designed to address specific skincare needs:

Age Reversing Multi-Peptide Serum

  • Pour the 4oz bottle of Base Serum into a sterilized bowl.
  • Gently mix in the vials of EGF, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide and Acetyl Hexapeptide. Do not over mix.
  • Pour the new formula back into the Base Serum bottle. You may have a little extra left over that will not fit. Recycle old glass serum bottles to store the remainder of the serum.

Antioxidant Multi-Peptide Serum

  • Pour the bottle of Base Serum into a sterilized mixing bowl, add 1 vial of ROS Terminator, and mix well. Pro Tip: use a hand mixer for easier mixing.  Add 1 vial of EGF to the mixture and gently mix together.  Pour back into the Base Serum bottle and use as directed.

Blemish Fighting Multi-Peptide Serum:

  • Pour the 4oz bottle of Base Serum into a sterilized bowl.
  • Gently mix in the vials of Honey Bee Defensin and Granulysin. Do not over mix.
  • Pour the new formula back into the Base Serum bottle. You may have a little extra left over that will not fit into the bottle. Simply use another serum bottle or container to store the remainder.

For all multi-peptide serums, apply to clean, dry skin once or twice daily during the serum phase of your routine.
