This means that the science of skincare is always in flux. 

Old ideas give way to new, new ideas are tested constantly by accepted understanding. The practicalities of the ancient world are proven again and again in the lab, while high-tech bioidentical ingredients take us forward into the future. The cycle continues. 

And each day we turn on the lights to the lab and attempt to bring you, the Skin Actives Family, balance. The perfect Golden Mean between too much, too fast, and too slow, not enough. We call this the Skin Actives Way.

Over the past two, three years, we consider the Advanced Ageless and Advanced Restoration line of products to be two of our most ambitious experiments. We consider these twin experiments two of our greatest successes.

Advanced Ageless

When we conceived of our Advanced Ageless line the idea was to address skin that was more mature than others or potentially damaged. We believed that some root causes of these twin challenges could be dealt with by the same solution. 

We were looking at the non-biological conundrum of physical aging alongside damage from the sun and the environment and the answer was: antioxidants.

We added our proprietary ROS* BioNet blend to create a melange of antioxidants that would scour free radicals to our classic products to create a line that would stand up to today’s modern world. Then we added Apocynin, an ingredient that had a lot of emerging data on its efficacy to back up a long history of use.

These amazing products have been adopted by our clients, by you, in a way that we could not have imagined at the outset. The Advanced Ageless made its way into our Top 10 products list of 2021 in a big way, having adopted a fan-base that was much wider than anticipated. While our classic line of products continues to be popular, more people are finding Advanced Ageless all the time.

Advanced Restoration

Epidermal Growth Factor is one of the products that build Skin Actives Scientific. In 2007, no one was talking about EGF. In 2022, it’s considered a state-of-the-art active ingredient and pursued for its unbelievable results. 

Our Advanced Restoration line, (sometimes called High Potency) packs in 10 times the amount of Epidermal Growth Factor as our normal line of EGF products. It is no exaggeration to say that the results from these products are unprecedented. Try them for yourself.
