Tremella Fuciformis Extract, derived from the Silver Ear Mushroom, is said to be an amazing moisturizer with more water-holding capacity than hyaluronic acid. Tremella gel is a mixture of hydrolyzed collagen, pullulan and hyaluronic acid in addition to tremella which will make your DIY skincare products extra silky smooth and hydrating. It's easy to use, just add a half of the tube to 4oz of your favorite water-based moisturizing cream to give it that luxurious and expensive feel with the line smoothing boost of pullulan. Works well on dry, normal and combination skin.
How to use it
Beginner: Add half a tube to 4 oz of your favorite base cream or water-based fomula.
Advanced: This ingredient is recommended for use at 5% in creams to create a gel-like texture, but can be used safely at 100% directly on the skin. This gel can be added to any base cream or used as a serum base when formulating. The recommended pH range for this ingredient is 3-5, and avoid using with highly electrolytic ingredients for best results. Add during the cool down phase of emulsions.
