Vitamin E Oil is the primary lipid-soluble antioxidant utilized by the skin. Use this oil to increase antioxidant activity or hydration of various formulations. This ingredient is a very versatile ingredient that can be added to creams and or water based serums. You can use it directly on your skin but it works best as an additive to your moisturizer because it has a thicker consistency than some other oils. All you need is a few pumps; a little goes a long way. Add it to one of our base creams like the Canvas Base Cream to help protect your skin from sun damage, pollutants and ozone or add it to the Antioxidant Day Cream for an extra antioxidant boost. Suitable for all skin types.
How to use it
Beginner: Add several pumps to your favorite cream or water-based formulation.
Advanced: This ingredient is recommended for use at 5% in creams to create a gel-like texture, but can be used safely at 100% directly on the skin. This gel can be added to any base cream or used as a serum base when formulating. The recommended pH range for this ingredient is 3-5, and avoid using with highly electrolytic ingredients for best results. Add during the cool down phase of emulsions.
Quick Tips
